Grace Episcopal Church holds its 4th RED DOOR BAZAAR!
       By Keith Bardell

Grace Episcopal Church today, November 15, 2008 held it's Red Door Bazaar. The  Bazaar was between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Grace Episcopal Church is located at 10 S. Cherry in Freeport, Ilinois. It is distinctly unique due to it's brightly red colored doors. It is on the corner of Cherry, and Stephenson St. in Downtown Freeport. It was great to see some of my old friends, like Mrs. Worthington and Mrs. Lacasio and both Connies, giving their time to help with the event.  I grew up in this church, and have fond memories of being a member here.
The Bazaar consisted of crafts, baked items and a unique boutique.  The basement of the church was transformed into the Red Door Cafe'  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for homemade soups and breads.  There is also a raffle for a quilt that is 80 x 99 inches in the red, white and blue sesquicentennial colors. If you weren't there today, don't miss the next Bazaar!
